The year was 1987, and a band dad endeavored to sell t-shirts at his son’s marching band competition…and Music T’s was born.
Nearly twenty years later, the company had become the national leader in offering commemorative merchandise at marching contests and clinic concerts, and had a modest custom order business primarily serving school music groups.
In 2006, the company was acquired by Craig Johnson. After a successful career as an executive for several leading companies, he had a vision to own and run his own company, doing things his way, according to his values.
After buying Music T’s, the company name was changed to PepWear, a true representation of its mission. A culture of service, learning, and integrity was built in every aspect of the company. Despite challenges, PepWear has grown on the strength of always doing the right thing and has more than doubled in size since the acquisition.
Today, PepWear still serves to commemorate the amazing achievements of youths, whether in music, sports, or the arts
Service. Integrity. Accountability. That's the PepWear experience.
